A challenging Lake District walk requiring some scrambling skills on the popular Striding Edge route.
The picturesque village of Glenridding is a fitting start to this beautiful, although moderate to hard, route providing some stunning views across Ullswater, taking in some of the highest mountains. This is a 12mile walk with highlights of Helvellyn, Striding Edge, and St. Sunday Crag, taking in a total of seven high peaks. This is a long route with lots of ascent and of course the knife edge ridge of Striding Edge so be prepared for an exhilarating day. This Lake District walk has it all.
